The other morning I had the strangest dream.
I was getting ready for a meeting at church. I'd set aside two things to take with me, and I couldn't find either. I finally left without them.
When I got to church, the parking lot was huge--like a mall parking lot that wraps all the way around the building. I parked my car, then saw a good friend of mine. We wanted to talk, but I had to go because I was already late.
I got into the meeting and realized that I was wearing nothing but a swimsuit. While it wasn't the most revealing suit, I would certainly not wear it without at least a pair of shorts on top. Then I noticed that I hadn't shaved my legs in two weeks.
I ran back outside and could not find my car.
That's when I woke up.

You are forgetful.
You lose things.
You don't know where you're going.
You're not a good friend.
You're not good enough.
Don't believe the lies. I know that none of those things are true, but I have different lies that I tend to believe. Yet in Christ, we are loved, forgiven, and extended all the grace we need. As Bart Millard of MercyMe has said, "You are holy, righteous, and redeemed." Amen.

We all need to remember through Christ we are loved and forgiven
