Friday's Fave Five - March 28

Happy Friday, and welcome to Friday's Fave Five!  As you might have guessed, this is where we share our five favorite parts of the week.  I haven't participated for a while, but after a couple of stressful days, this has been a good week!
  1. My doctor and I have finally hit on a combination of medications that seems to work!  It's made a world of difference. :)  Praise God!
  2. My husband and I have spent an extraordinary amount of time talking, and Date Night isn't even here yet.  Quality time is one of my love languages, so this has been a blessing to me.
  3. I talked with my friend who unintentionally hurt me, and we resolved the misunderstanding.  I realized that my words, said in hurt-turned-anger, were also very sharp.  Everything's good now.  Conflict is very hard for me, and I'm so thankful that it's been worked out.
  4. The snow that was in the forecast did not arrive!  My flower bulbs are starting to peek out of the ground.  Even though it's allergy season for me, I'm ready for spring.
  5. My son and I chose his curriculum for next year.  He'll be a senior already, so we had to make sure we covered the last of the requirements for graduation.  Still, planning and ordering curriculum is one of my favorite parts of the year.

  1. A lovely week. Yay to the son on accomplishing requirements for graduation, and to quality time with loved ones. "Flower bulbs starting to peek out of the ground" - I just love that image!

  2. Yay Yay Yay!!!!!
So excited to see this post...
    I am smiling all over!!!!

  3. Glad you and your doctor seemed to have hit upon the right combinations of meds.

Good for you for working things out with your friend. Confrontation is hard for me, and I tell myself to just let it go, but it still festers a bit, when it would have been better to get things out in the open.

We did get snow a few days ago but thankfully it didn't stick. We've got more snow forecast this weekend but I am hoping it will pass us by.

  4. Hi Melissa! Nice to see you again in the FFF linky! So glad that your med combo is working. That must be a huge relief!

Confrontation is so difficult especially with a good friend. Praise God things are worked out for you and your friend.

Wow, a senior already! This will be an exciting year for your son.

  5. Oh thank the Lord your doc found a good med for you! Senior year is so exciting!! and that is sooo good that you were able to confront your friend and work things out...not a favorite of mine either (the confrontation part) but when we give each other the grace and mercy of Christ, it is sooo much easier! Happy to "see" you again Melissa!

  6. Confrontation is very difficult for many of us (me included). I'm glad you and your friend were able to resolved this.

Having next year planned the end of March is GREAT!

  7. Wonderful you found a combination of meds that work. It can be truly life changing.

Glad for your reconciliation- it's such a challenge to be hurt by a close friend.
