Thanks to the folks at Rigoni di Asiago, I had the opportunity to try (at no cost to me) two more flavors of Fiordifrutta organic fruit spreads.
The flavors I received this time were Fig and Lemon. Fig is spreadable and, well, figgy. Lemon is a bit chunkier, sweet at first, then tart. Both are good on toast, and lemon was yummy in jam-filled crumb bars. Next time I'd use more of the lemon spread than the recipe calls for. We found these reminiscent of lemon squares, but they'd be even better with more lemon flavor.
Rigoni di Asiago, the maker of these delicious products, wants to give one lucky reader the chance to win the same products I tried, plus a few extra goodies. The prize pack includes one jar each of Fig and Lemon Fiordifrutta, a hat and an apron with the Rigoni di Asiago logo, a booklet, and samples of Fiordifrutta and Nocciolata. To enter, just use the Rafflecopter widget below. Good luck!
