Friday's Fave Five - February 8

Welcome to my little corner of Friday's Fave Five!  I'm glad you're here.
  1. My response to the medication change seems to have stabilized, sort of.  It's not great, but it's been worse. :)
  2. I met with my pastor.  We had good conversation and prayed together.  So uplifting.
  3. My sweet husband knew I was having a hectic week, and he offered to do the grocery shopping for me.  What a blessing that was!
  4. I finished crocheting one cap and started another.  These are made with cotton yarn, which I've heard is more comfortable for chemo patients than acrylic yarn.

  5. I've become more of a coffee drinker, but this week I've been drinking tea instead.  It's just cozier on a cold morning.  (See, you knew I couldn't get through another FFF list without mentioning food!)
What were the best parts of your week?  For more Friday's Fave Five, click the link at the top of this post to visit Susanne.

  1. oh those little caps are adorable!!
I LOVE coffee!!! i sometime drink herbal tea in the evenings but I much prefer coffee :) That's awesome that your hubby has helped you and that you had a good chat with your pastor. I hope you are enjoying a relaxing weekend :)

  2. once again, another great week :)

  3. So glad to hear the medication is working better for you!

Those hate are beautiful! That's awesome they are for chemo patients. I have a good friend who crochets and loves it.

I love coffee. I drink a cup of decaf every morning, simply for the taste. :) It doesn't make me stay awake ha! Have a blessed weekend!

  4. How sweet of your husband. I would be a little scared with what my husband brought home if I entrusted him with the grocery shopping! ;) But he is a wonderful man anyway!

  5. I think I would take a cotton cap over an acrylic any day! Very nice hats. Love the blue colors on the second one.

Very nice of your hubby. Very trusting of you handing him the grocery list. ;v)

  6. Cute caps! I want to learn to crochet. How sweet of your hubby to do the grocery shopping. (Mine always comes home with a few things not on the list...!)

Hope the meds stabilize and you have a good week.

  7. Thanks for the tip of using cotton yarn on these caps. Best part of my week was spending time with my grandchildren.

  8. I am glad you are feeling better. Cute cap!Your husband was so nice to do the shopping for you. Sometimes it's the small things that mean the most.
