Organic Snacks from SunRidge Farms

I know it's rare for me to talk about food here (LOL), but I have to tell you about these new products I had the chance to try!  SunRidge Farms was generous enough to send me samples of a few different products, and I want to tell you about them.

These cubes are Energy Nuggets.  It's all natural, made of honey, sunflower seeds, sesame seeds, peanuts, carob powder, cashews, almond or peanut butter, and pumpkin seeds.  YUM.  They're sweet but I don't think they're overly sweet.  I recommend that you take one or two from the bag, then seal the bag and put it away before you start eating.  Otherwise you'll be popping these into your mouth--as I was--and, true to their name, they are energy dense.  These babies contain about 100 calories each.

I have no photo of the All Natural Milk Chocolate Almonds (they don't ship well in summer), but I can tell you about them.  To make the thick chocolate coating, SunRidge Farms uses real cocoa butter (no "chocolatey" coating here), real vanilla, and evaporated cane juice (no HFCS).  Since chocolate and almonds are among my favorite snack foods, these candies didn't last long.  I think they're the best chocolate almonds I've ever tasted.

Until now, my idea of trail mix always included chocolate.  It's perfect when you're kicking back at home and watching other people exercise on TV.  SunRidge Farms Organic Deluxe Trail Mix changed my mind.  Everything in it is organic, and it's free of sulfur dioxide or preservatives.  The mix includes raisins, dry roasted peanuts, sunflower seeds, almonds, dates, apricots, pumpkin seeds, apples, and walnuts.  I tried--strictly for review purposes, of course--the components individually and together, and everything is fresh and delicious.

One more point:  Since I'm a fan of almonds, I especially appreciate almonds that aren't excessively salted or highly seasoned.  SunRidge Farms Organic Almonds are just that:  organic almonds.  No salt, no sugar, no smoke flavoring, no chemical names I can't pronounce.  Just.Almonds.  And they're deliciously crunchy, crunchily delicious.  (Yes, I totally made up that word.)

Disclosure:  SunRidge Farms sent these products, at no cost to me, for review purposes.  I was not required to write a positive review, and all opinions in this post are my own.
