Make Something Astrobright #goastrobrights

This post brought to you by Astrobrights Papers by Neenah Paper. All opinions are 100% mine.

Even before I started scrapbooking, and even now that I'm making more cards than scrapbook pages, I've had a weakness for paper.  I love looking through patterned papers and finding coordinating solids.

I use a lot of solid-colored papers for backgrounds, but that doesn't mean they have to be boring.  One choice that's anything but boring:  AstroBrights papers.  They come in 23 bright colors, and the paper is 20% thicker than ordinary sheets.  I've used AstroBrights papers with good results, and yet I was unaware that they also make brightly colored filler (notebook) paper in some of the same bright colors.  How neat is that?!

Astrobrights has two fun promotions going on right now.  First is the AstroBrights papers Give a Brighter Year! sweepstakes.  The winner will receive $30,000 worth of school supplies for his or her selected (K-8) school, plus a $500 gift card for him/herself.  Enter through the AstroBrights papers Facebook page.

If you're feeling creative and lucky, check out the Make Something AstroBrights contest.  This is a really neat four-stage contest, with a new challenge each week.  You don't have to be a scrapbooker:  find any creative, family-friendly way to use AstroBrights papers and submit your entry!

  1. oh.. yellow notebook paper would be awesome... i have always heard (and read in school) that yellow helps you remember, hence the yellow highlighters... or yellow legal tabs of paper...
    great thinking!
