No, it didn't earn the title based on its appearance.
In fact, the pie was especially messy because I forgot to press down the crumbs on the bottom of the pan. I also tried to cut a slice before it was completely set. But wow, it tastes so, SO good!
Best-Ever Banana Cream Pie
Make the crust:
- 1-1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs (20 squares)
- 1/3 cup butter, melted
- 3 tablespoons sugar
Make the filling:
- 1 pkg (4-serving size) vanilla instant pudding mix
- 2 cups milk
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/4 cup confectioners sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
Assemble the pie:
- 1 or 2 bananas, sliced about 1/4" thick
