Organic Gardening with Whitney Farms

This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of Whitney Farms. All opinions are 100% mine.

raised bed gardenFrom the time my husband and I decided to create a raised bed garden for vegetables, we have been very picky.  In particular, I didn't want any chemicals in the garden.  (I mean, we're eating these vegetables!)

I think I drove my husband a little bit crazy when I said that we should use something other than pressure-treated wood for the frame.  But he used his super-human resourcefulness to find this plastic wood, which was very new at the time.

Since then we've used only organic soil amendments, organic plant food, and so on.  It's been a little inconvenient, since we had to mail-order everything, but it was worth the effort.

Now, however, we have another option, and it looks pretty exciting to me.  Whitney Farms® has a brand new line of all-natural plant foods and soils for both flowers and vegetables.

I don't know if we're going to be able to plant a garden this year, because of all the health issues we have right now.  But when we do, I definitely want to try some of these new products.  If you are interested, too, don't miss out on the printable $3 coupon from Whitney Farms®.

  1. We have raised bed gardens too and right now we have both chicken and goat manure to amend our garden soil along with compost. It is nice to know about Whitney Farms products in case we ever need something like this.
