Finally, something more fun! My blogging friend Noelle gave me this 7 Facts Award! Thank you for thinking of me, Noelle!
This is how it works:
1 - Copy the Award Picture and add it to your blog
2- Thank and Link back to the person who awarded it to you
3- Share 7 Facts about yourself
4- Give 15 other bloggers this award
So ... seven facts about myself. Are there really seven things that I haven't already blogged about? Let's see ...
- As a child, I had countless ear infections. I probably drank more chalky pink antibiotic suspension than milk.
- Which reminds me of this little-known and not terribly interesting tidbit: I've never liked milk, unless it's chocolate. Even now my husband will remind me to drink enough milk. (I do take calcium supplements.)
- For three years in grade school, I was in a split class. Our classroom included students from two different grade levels, and the teacher taught the groups separately for most subjects.
- I graduated from high school with a large class (600+ students). Our school had so many students that we only attended school for about 4-1/2 hours a day. Half of us went in the morning, and half in the afternoon.
- I collect cookbooks, but (these days) I get most of my new recipes online!
- In school I played clarinet for five or six years. I still have a clarinet (or two) in the closet, but I haven't played in forever.
- I don't believe in lucky numbers, but when I did, my lucky number was always 12.
- Vickie at A Day on the Urban Farm
- Michelle at Cross Driven Home
- Crystal at Crystal's Cozy Kitchen
- Petula at It's a Woman's World!
- Cindy from Letters From Midlife
- Melynda from Mom's Sunday Cafe
- Tammy from Not Just Paper and Glue
- Catherine from Our Village is a Little Different
- Alea from Premeditated Leftovers
- Alexis from Running Away? I'll Help You Pack.
- Melissa from those northern skies
- Jamie from Walkin' in High Cotton
I do hope you are feeling better soon and maybe a break from your blog is just what you need. Eliminate any unneeded stresses in your life. :)
ReplyDeleteI too had hoped you would feel better soon, if there is anything I can do to help, please let me know.
ReplyDeleteThanks!! I hope the break is beneficial. I will pray for you.
ReplyDeleteWow, shifts for high school? That's pretty cool and gigantic! LOL
ReplyDeleteI haven't done one of these in ages so it'll be fun.
I do hope you get a longer break soon. More than likely you're going to have to put your foot down and realize some things are just gonna have to wait and everything will be okay. I wish you lived closer because you could come over here while the kids are gone from Friday night to Wednesday morning this week and enjoy my silence with me. :-)
Congrats everyone!
ReplyDeleteThanks sweetie for the award your the best!
Yay!
ReplyDeleteI am so glad you did this...
As it let me learn more about you!
First of all, ear infections... ME TOO!
ALWAYS.. Tubes in ears 3 times!
Milk - ME TOO! Hate it, unless its chocolate or left over from cereal! :)
I love that your classes (seem) small to the point of putting 2 classes in the same room... but such a large graduating class that there were 600 and you only went part days? how did that work? did you go the whole year... jealous... I THINK :)
