Well, when I heard about this new idea from Rubbermaid and Sharpie, I knew that I wanted to give it a try!

So, first chance I had, I wanted to try my hand at decorating some containers. For inspiration, I mixed up a batch of Faith's Fudge. Then, while the fudge was cooling, I got started.
Decorating the Rubbermaid TakeAlongs containers with Sharpie markers and Sharpie paint pens was fun! My results weren't nearly as professional-looking at the ones in the image above, but the containers, filled with homemade treats, will still make a special gift for someone. And as a bonus, the recipient can reuse the container. Rubbermaid TakeAlongs are durable enough to wash--they're dishwasher-, freezer-, and microwave-safe--yet inexpensive enough to give away.
Cute presentation, right? This container held nearly the entire batch of fudge. For such an indulgent treat, I might choose a smaller container.
Buy it: Rubbermaid TakeAlongs are available at Wal-Mart, Target, K-Mart, grocery stores, drug stores, and clubs. Sharpie products are available wherever office products are sold.
Win it: Thanks to the team at Rubbermaid and Sharpie, one lucky reader will win a prize pack containing these items:
- A 15-piece Rubbermaid TakeAlongs set
- A Sharpie Stainless Steel Permanent Marker
- Sharpie Retractable Markers
- Sharpie Pen Retractable
