How cute is this set of Musician Nutcrackers from Pier 1?

Or these Gingerbread Man Soaps? (I think these would make fun stocking stuffers, and they'd look good next to the sink in the powder room.)

We don't completely redecorate our home for Christmas, but it's fun to have a few accents here and there. I tend to like more neutral tones, like these Gilded Forest ornaments:

I think the zebra stripes and leopard print are subtle enough that they would surprise anyone who took a closer look!
For fun as well as function, wouldn't this Moose Door Draft Stopper be perfect for my son "Mooseman"?

Although I generally prefer the more natural, earth-tone look, the rest of my family members prefer a bright, colorful approach to Christmas! So right now we've got touches of red, green, and white on our tabletops and ledges. We didn't set out to collect snowmen, yet we have a row of them on a shelf in the family room, one in the powder room, several on the Christmas tree ....
If we were throwing a dinner party this season, I might just have to have a couple of these (dishwasher safe!) Candy Cane Serveware pieces. Our everyday dishes are pure white, so these would add a festive splash of color.

Shopping for holiday gifts? Pier 1 has a broad selection. I always think of their home decor and kitchen items, but they also have gifts like jewelry, wallets, tote bags, novelty pens (one style looks like golf clubs!), and much more. I appreciate that they offer gifts at any price point, starting at just one dollar.

Two more quick notes:
- During the months of November and December, you can support Toys for Tots by dropping off an unwrapped toy and/or making a cash donation at the register
- For every new Facebook fan that Pier 1 gets, they will donate $1 to Toys for Tots. You'll find links to their Facebook and Twitter pages in the footer of their home page.
i plan to totally decorate whenever we get a house.... lol, will be checking out pier 1 for their sales after Christmas :)
ReplyDeleteI do not redecorate for christmas either. Too much work. I do put up a tree, some small accents, and stockings...but that's about it. I have never shopped at Pier 1. I think I have one close to me. I should check it out sometime.
