- My husband's concern for me: He came home from work last Friday, took one look at the infected rash on my arm, and said, "Get dressed. We're going to the doctor." I would have waited another day or so, but he was right. I needed antibiotics, and the spot is finally looking better.
- As my husband was flipping through TV channels, he landed on a foreign-language infomercial. He muted the sound and started making up a sales pitch to accompany the video. SO funny.
- It's been a(nother) rough week for me. But one bright spot was a friend who reached out to me in an extremely thoughtful way. I was so grateful that I almost cried.
- We are celebrating my son's birthday this weekend: Mooseman is turning 13. And while I'm sure he's responsible for at least a few of my gray hairs, he's a great kid and I'm very happy to be his mom.
- These lyrics from MercyMe are a good reminder for me:
I just might bend but I won't break
As long as I can see Your face
When life won't play along
And right keeps going wrong
And I can't seem to find my way
I know where I am found
So I won't let it drag me down
Oh, I'll keep dancing anyway
