Buzzed Driving / Halloween Weekend

Whether or not your family observes Halloween, it's important to think about the hazards that we might encounter on that weekend.  I don't usually think of Halloween as a "drinking holiday," but the statistics suggest that it is.

Regardless of what you're doing during the last weekend in October, if you're on the road, you need to be aware. Here are some resources for more information:

  1. Wow! I had no idea that drinking is such a problem with drinking on this day. We don't do Halloween anyway.

  2. I've been concerned about all the drunk driving recently because lately it seems like I've seen more accidents, traffic stops and hit and runs! I've just been so cautious while driving the kiddos around lately and now Halloween is coming up! Ohhh GOD help us all!

  3. totally forgot about posting this...
    thanks for the reminder

  4. It's a scary time out there and good to keep this infront of everything!

  5. Great post, thanks for reminding everyone! Seems most holidays involve drinking and driving, always a dangerous time to out and about!

  6. Thanks for the reminder. I wish there were stricter penalties for drunk driving, like in Europe.
