GoD and DoG (Book Review)

More than two million people have watched this on YouTube, but I didn't hear of GoD and DoG until I read about the book!

Singer and artist Wendy Francisco has turned her song and animation into a gift book, now available from Center Street.

Simple black-and-white drawings accompany a story about unconditional love.  Perhaps the excerpt that best summarizes the message is this:
GoD thought up and made the DoG
DoG reflects a part of GoD
It's been a long time since my family has had a dog, but I still remember her loyalty and her pure joy when one of us came home.  Dog lovers will relate to this book.  At first I was concerned that the comparison between GoD and DoG would be irreverent, but I didn't find that to be the case.  GoD and DoG is a very quick read, and I enjoyed it.

For more information, visit the Hachette Book Group product page for GoD and DoG.  From that page you can also watch the GoD and DoG video and read an excerpt.
