ReplyDeleteMake keeping track of homework and important papers fun to do. Get the children involved in picking out the colors and styles of organizational tools. If they are excited about using these tools, and keeping their things organized they are more likely to do it, and less likely to lose things and get behind in projects.

Stay on top of the kids being organized the first few weeks, and everyone manages better for the school year.
ReplyDeleteI keep a big write on calendar on the kitchen wall with all our appointments, practices, school activities, etc.. on it. It keeps the chaos of back to school at a minimum when everyone can see who goes where and when every morning when we head out the door.
