David's Cookies (Review)

I like to bake, but sometimes it's not practical to bake cookies to send to friends or family members who aren't local.  For those occasions, I would consider sending a treat from David's Cookies.

My family and I had the chance to review a one-pound tin of assorted fresh-baked cookies from David's Cookies.  The box arrived on a hot summer day, so the cookies almost seemed as though they'd just come out of the oven!

The tin was well-wrapped in bubble wrap within the cardboard box, and the cookies inside the tin are also protected with bubble wrap.  As a result, both the tin and the cookies arrived in perfect condition.

The cookies are soft and chewy, like my favorite homemade cookies.  I appreciate that they contain no preservatives; this gives them a shorter shelf life, of course, but I know that wasn't a problem in my house!

We received an assortment of flavors, including Chocolate Chunk cookies, which contain a generous amount of Hershey's chocolate pieces.  We liked all of the flavors, but we each had a different favorite.  My husband's favorite was the spicy Ginger Molasses, of which my son said, "Tastes like Christmas!"  Mooseman liked Macadamia White Chunk the most, and my favorite was Orange Oatmeal Cranberry.  At least I think those were the flavors we liked:  without a list of what the assortment includes, we had to match up the descriptions with what we tasted.  For us, that added to the fun factor of the assortment, but if you prefer to know exactly what to expect, you might choose a single-flavor tin or the cookie dough that you can bake at home.

These tins of fresh-baked cookies from David's Cookies would make fun gifts for college students or loved ones who simply crave a taste of home.  David's Cookies also offers gift baskets, cakes, tarts, and many other gift items.

Disclosure:  I received these cookies, at no cost to me, for review purposes.  I was not required to write a positive review, and all opinions are my own or those of my family members.
