Giveaway: EcoSmart Home Pest Control Products (Closed)

There's nothing quite like the sinking feeling that comes with walking into the kitchen and seeing a parade of ants along the baseboard.  I'd rather not use chemical insecticides in our home, so I'd opt for an organic bug spray like the one from EcoSMART.

Earlier this year I had the opportunity to give away a Safe Home Value Bundle of home pest control products (Ant and Roach Killer, Home Pest Control, Flying Insect Killer, and Insect Repellent) from EcoSMART.  Now I have the chance to host another giveaway, and this time you get to choose the prize!

Win it:  One lucky winner will be able to choose any product or value bundle from the EcoSMART online shop.

This giveaway is closed.

Here's how to enter: Visit the EcoSMART website, then come back and leave me a comment with one fact you learned (where to purchase does not qualify for this initial entry) and which product or value bundle you would choose if you win. Be sure to leave a way for me to contact you. Limit 1 entry by this method. This must be done in order to qualify for extra entries.

Here's how you can earn additional entries (please leave one comment per entry):
  • Leave a comment with the name of a store in your area which sells EcoSMART products. (1 entry)
  • Subscribe to my feed through GFC or in a feed reader. If you already subscribe, leave a comment to let me know. (1 entry each way)
  • Subscribe to my feed by email. Subscriptions must be verified to count. If you already subscribe, leave a comment to let me know. (2 entries - mention Entry #1 and Entry #2)
  • Follow me on Twitter and tweet about this giveaway ( RT @FC_Melissa Enter to win EcoSMART home pest control products http://bit.ly/bqIfpR #green #giveaway ). (1 entry per day)
  • Comment on a non-giveaway post on my blog. Leave a comment here with the title of the post you commented. (2 entries per non-giveaway post, limit 6 entries total)
  • 'Like' my brand-new Frugal Creativity page on Facebook. (1 entry)
More details: Open to residents of USA (excluding Alaska and Hawaii), age 18 or older. Giveaway ends 8/30/10 at noon (Eastern time). Winner will be chosen by the random number generator at Random.org. Winner will be contacted by email and must claim the prize within 48 hours, or another winner will be chosen. Void where prohibited.

Disclosure: I have received no compensation in any form for hosting this giveaway. All product information contained in this post was received from EcoSMART Technologies.

  45. I learned that EcoSMART Botanicals block Octopamine, a key neurotransmitter found in insects. It regulates their heart rate, movement, behavior and metabolism. Blocking Octopamine results in a total breakdown of the insect’s central nervous system. Mammals, birds and fish do not have receptors for Octopamine, so EcoSMART Botanical Oils have no adverse effect on them.

We've tried the EcoSMART home pest control, and the scent is too much for my husband. He has allergies that are triggered by strong smells. I'd love to try the Safe Plant & Garden Value Bundle, because we have a big weed problem, and as long as the smell stays outside, it shouldn't be a problem.
