If you don't have a friend who can make the assassination of Julius Caesar into a comedy routine, if you want to brush up on ancient history, or if you'd like to fill in the gaps in your knowledge of ancient history, there's The Classics: All You Need to Know, from Zeus's Throne to the Fall of Rome
In about 175 pages, the author covers topics ranging from classical languages, mythology, and inventions to ancient history, literature, and philosophy. I did not fact-check the content, which would be a daunting task, considering how much is in this book. But I can tell you that the information is presented clearly and concisely, and I enjoyed reading it.

This sounds like a fun book! We are classical homeschoolers (Latin, Greek, Logic, Rhetoric, and lot so ancient history...poor kids!) but it is always nice to find a new way to review.
