On Demand: More Than Just Movies

This is a Sponsored Post written by me on behalf of Charter. All opinions are 100% mine.

On Demand is one of the most popular features of Charter TV in Digital. Why? For one reason, it's not just a movie service, but a home for thousands of shows and programs just waiting for you to discover.

In addition to movies, On Demand offers thousands of children's shows, workout videos, concerts, cooking shows ... pretty much anything you might want ... on your schedule.

I've seen dozens of commercials for--but not a single episode of--Cupcake Wars on the Food Network. I always seem to miss it, for some reason, and I never remember to set up a recording. On Demand has it (at least one episode, at the moment), so I'd get to watch the show even when I forget to set up to record it.

Or ... quite often I end up falling asleep before a show ends. I'll watch most of Next Food Network Star, then fall asleep before I find out which contestant was sent home. How exasperating! With On Demand, the last few episodes are available--at a time when I can actually stay awake.

Of course On Demand also has movies, and I like that you can refine the list by types other than the traditional genres (comedy, drama, etc.); for example, you can choose categories like music and sports.  I also appreciate that there are many choices in the family-movie category!

For more information, visit the On Demand home page. You will ‘Like’ their Facebook page as well.

  1. Very cool! We have been cableless for over 12 years, but I have been thinking of trying it again. I don't want to be a slave to a showtime, so I like the idea of on demand t.v.

  2. Oh girl Cupcake Wars rocks love it, those ppl are so freaking talented! Who knew you could make a cupcake taste good with thinks like chilis & grass.

Be nice to have everything on demand, now if like was like that ... lol
