Monday Meanderings, and What's Coming Up

Just a few notes about what's coming up this week and what we've been doing!

Today is the kickoff for the Summer of Swag.  Whether you're new to Swagbucks or an existing member, you'll want to know about the Swag Code Extravaganza!

Today is also the video Twitter party with Tyler Florence.  Sponsored by Wishbone, it's all about salads, and you just might have a chance to have a question answered by Tyler.

On Wednesday I plan to link up to Amanda's Dishing It blog party.  Her topic is Dads:  you can write about your own dad, your favorite TV or movie dad, or your husband who's a great dad.  For more ideas, see Amanda's party invitation.

You have a few more days to enter the Father's Day Contest at and my giveaway for a custom shirt from Fibers.  I hope you'll take a look.

I'm also excited about a new study hosted by At the Well: If We Are the Body.  It starts next Monday, so you have a little time to find out how it will work.
If we are the body
We had a busy but good weekend.  On Saturday we did another all-beef freezer cooking day.  Although I did all of the cooking, my husband was a great help in getting everything organized, cleaned up, and stored in the freezer.  In all, we prepared enough meat (meatballs, meatloaf, and browned meat) for 11 dinners.

Mooseman has been working on his own website and blog.  He's been asking me a few questions, but knowing him, pretty soon I'll have an in-house Blogger expert!

  1. Sounds fabulous! What a great idea to have the beef cooking day. I guess I could do something similar with ground turkey. I've turned into such a lazy cook that it all sounds good in theory. :)

I'm off to see about the swag codes. ...

  2. Love the beef cooking day, I really would love to that. I need to get a freezer :).

Love all the new link ups to come!

  3. lol, step one..
    i bought tons of meat...
now to figure out what to cook
