FriendGiftr: Gift Cards with a Twist

This is a Sponsored Post written by me on behalf of FriendGiftr. All opinions are 100% mine.
Me: "Uh-oh."
DH: "What is it?"
Me: "I just realized that your mom's birthday is tomorrow, and we forgot to send a card."
This conversation took place just last night, and set me in search of something that could be delivered today. It all worked out because DH was able to stop by his mom's house today, but for situations like this, I'm glad to know about FriendGiftr.

Not only does FriendGiftr sell gift cards for more than 120 retailers and restaurants, but they allow the recipient to exchange the card at no extra cost.  If Dad prefers one sporting goods store over another, he can exchange the card for the store he likes.  No problem.  He can even split the value of the card among multiple merchants, so, for example, he can see a movie and pick up a pizza on the way home.

If you plan ahead (as I usually do), you can schedule delivery for a future date.  But by default the cards are sent immediately, and sometimes (ahem) this really comes in handy.

You can also shop FriendGiftr through Facebook, iPhone, BlackBerry, and Android, as well as their own website.

And if you happen to be shopping for my birthday, here's a hint ;)

(Just kidding! Blog comments are my love language.)

  2. Love that you can exchange them. I always seem to get gift cards for the same store for everyone because I don't know what they'd like. This will come in handy!
