
So this week I did Core (Week 2) on Tuesday and Cardio (Week 3) on Thursday. Next week I'll be back to three times a week, starting with Resistance (Week 3). Here are my observations and results:
- The KettleWorx workouts continue to be fun! The variety really helps me stay with the program.
- Even though I moved up to Core Week 2, I didn't have the same kind of soreness that I had after the first time. I'm confident that it's working, but I'm having less pain.
- The Cardio workouts continue to be challenging for me, but I think I'm gaining ground on it. And, as I wrote last week, the cardio benefits are the most important to me.
- I continue to notice more muscle strength and definition, and slimming in a few particular spots. None of it would be evident to anyone else at this point; I need to lose some weight before it shows!
- I haven't gained or lost weight this week. But today I read that weight training often causes weight gain, because of the increase in muscle mass, so I think I just need to be patient and stick with it.
- My favorite words have become "Okay, last rep!" My least favorite words? "Set 2" :) These workouts are challenging but worth it!

Congratulations on sticking to it. It sounds like a fun workout. I wish I could get up the energy or whatever is preventing me to do some cardio. I like to do yoga and still haven't done it lately. So I applaud you for sticking to it and I am excited by the results you're seeing. Have a great weekend.
ReplyDeleteGirl you're doing so great keeping up with it. It really helps having variety I find I stop it gets boring. I so will have to get this!
