- Before I started the KettleWorx program, I'd been doing strength training and riding the stationary bike. Since I started, I've learned that the strength aspect of the workouts (I'm using the 10-pound bell) is within my range of ability, but I can't quite keep up with the cardio part. I'm out of breath before my arms/legs/etc. get tired.
- After the first day, I was mildly sore all over. But a day after the first Core workout, I am quite sore, all through my abs and obliques. Not in an I'm never doing that again way, but in an I want to do that again--just not today way!
- As I wrote last time, my biggest challenge in keeping up an exercise routine is boredom. I really like that KettleWorx has different routines, so each workout is done only once a week. Mixing it up keeps it fun!
- In this week I've managed to gain three pounds. I totally blame that on junk food, because I'm confident that I'm getting good exercise! Although I would love to lose weight, my primary focus is on health, especially cardiovascular health.
- Even in just a week, it's getting easier for me to complete the workouts. However, I've decided to repeat the Week 1 routines to try to build my stamina before I move on. So far I can tell you that the second time through the Week 1 Cardio was significantly easier than the first time!
