Fitness Friday - The Beginning

Whew! This week seemed so long, for some reason.  I'm not sure why:  it wasn't a particularly bad week or an especially busy one.  Just long.  Being tired and hardly making a dent in my Things to Do list can't be helping!

This week didn't bring a lot of fun things to write about, but I do have one:  KettleWorx.

My biggest challenge in keeping up an exercise routine is boredom.  Even with the stationary bike in front of the television, I get bored with riding it.  I've seen KettleWorx and it looks like fun!  I'm very happy to have the chance to review it.  The idea (I'm paraphrasing, not quoting the description) is that you can get a complete workout in just 20 minutes, three times a week.  The sessions are designed to be intense and to work multiple muscle groups at a time, so it's a very efficient way to exercise.

On Wednesday I did (most of) the first cardio workout.  I skipped a couple of the moves because I paused to catch my breath.  But other than that, I did the routine.  It was fun and easy to learn, but challenging.

I'll keep you posted with how it's going!
