Have you heard of SocialSpark?
I'd looked into this kind of program before, and, quite honestly, I'm kind of ambivalent about the pay-per-post idea. Blogging is much more satisfying when I write real, personal posts ... and I like passing along discount codes, recipes, and so on ... but a little income wouldn't be a bad thing, either.
I can't ... make that won't ... sell out my integrity for any amount of money. For that reason, I like that SocialSpark allows bloggers to be selective about opportunities. I've always been careful about the ads that I've posted, because I don't want to pass along anything spammy. I can't guarantee anything, of course, but I don't post ads for any company that I wouldn't do business with. I don't like "free" offers that require you to complete five steps to qualify, "free" offers that require a credit card, or anything else that isn't completely up-front. No asterisks, no fine print.
So I signed up for the SocialSpark program, but I don't know how much I'll be involved with it. Know that, if I do take opportunities for sponsored posts, they will be clearly labeled as such and my opinions aren't influenced by the sponsorship.
What do you think about sponsored posts?
This is a Sponsored Post written by me on behalf of IZEA. All opinions are 100% mine.

I checked this out. It seems like a great way to avoid becoming a "sell out" and still make a little cash. I mean, we do put a lot of time into this...it's gotta have some monetary perks. Thanks for this info!

I am comfortable with sponsored posts, if I trust the blogger. I always enjoy reading anything you choose to write about. Best wishes and thanks for the link. I will check the company out.
ReplyDeleteI don't think one sells out when being paid to post so long as it's disclosed. Giving an honest opinion or information is what I think is important. Thanks for the link, I'm going to check it out.
ReplyDeleteIt think you got it right, if it's something you like then do it. I say reviewing takes a lot of time and it's nice to get a little pocket change. But again it has to be a product I like just like what I do now.
