Heart of My Heart: A Devotional (Book Review)

In Heart of My Heart, author Kristin Armstrong shares devotionals for moms.  As the subtitle indicates, the book contains "365 Reflections on the Magnitude and Meaning of Motherhood."

Each page begins with a verse or two of scripture, followed by a few paragraphs that interpret the passage and/or relate it to motherhood.  Kristin writes not only about raising children, but also about how God uses our children to help us mature.  Some of the writings are more challenging than others, but I always had the sense that she was writing from her own experiences and lessons learned.

You can learn more about Heart of My Heart and read an excerpt at the Hachette product page.  It's available for purchase from and other retailers.
