Swagbucks News and Exclusive Code for New Members

Search & Win

If you're not yet signed up with Swagbucks, might I suggest that this is an excellent time to sign up?

If you're not familiar with Swagbucks, it's a program through which you can earn points (called, appropriately enough, Swagbucks) by searching the web, shopping through the Swagbucks website, trading in your old cell phones, and more.  The Swagbucks you accumulate can be used for various prizes:  gift cards for Amazon.com, iTunes, Restaurant.com, Disney.com, and many other sites; music and video downloads; cash (via PayPal), and many other prizes.  You can even choose to spend your Swagbucks on entries into sweepstakes (e.g., for an Apple iPad).  No matter how you choose to spend your Swagbucks, I hope you'll find it as rewarding as I have!  How rewarding?  In less than a year, I've earned more than $75 in Amazon.com gift cards, just by using Swagbucks for the web searches I would have done anyway.  I've also donated some of my Swagbucks for Haiti disaster relief and a holiday toy drive; my Amazon.com total would be higher if I hadn't done that.  If you're not yet registered with Swagbucks, read to the end of this message to find a special offer for you.

There's exciting news for current Swagbucks members as well as new members!  Swagbucks is celebrating their second birthday on February 25 (today!) by launching Swagbucks 3.0 with some very special new features and a TON of Swag Code giveaways.  Here's what's new (info provided by Swagbucks.com):
1) More ways to earn Swag Bucks every day: With Swagbucks.com 3.0 users will be able to earn by being logged in through the Swabucks toolbar on their browser and also by simply viewing our 'No Obligation' special offers. This means that in addition to all the regular ways to earn, the more you are engaged with Swagbucks.com, the more you will earn!

2) New look home page and Swag Store & rewards store: Swagbucks.com 3.0 will include a revamped, cleaner interface that will provide a better user experience.

3) Launch of the Swagstakes Portal: As you may know we currently run about a dozen on-going sweepstakes (called Swagstakes) at any given time. With the launch of 3.0 we are going to have a brand new, fully stocked Swagstakes portal in which there will be dozens of Swagstakes running at all times! Some contests will be limited entry (meaning a set number of entries will be offered) so the odds for a user to win are greater. The tentative list of items that will be offered during initial launch should include: $100 Amazon Gift Cards, Sony Bravia 32" TV, Amazon Kindle, Apple iPod Touch, Flip Ultra HD Camera, Panasonic Blu Ray with Remote, Apple iPad, Sopranos Complete Series Box Set, Rachel Ray 10 piece cookware set, Playstation 3 system + games bundle, Canon Powershot Camera, Seinfeld Complete Series DVD box Set, Viziio 22" LCD TV and plenty more!
One more piece of news:  Starting today, you will notice that your Swag Bucks in your account will be multiplied by 10--as will the prices in the Swag Store.  So, for example, if you had 45 SB in your account you will now have 450 SB; the Amazon gift card which was 45 SB will now be 450 SB.  Everything will change proportionally.

So ... if you're not yet registered with Swagbucks, here's your chance.  Register here and use code FCMELISSA to start your account with sixty Swagbucks.  This code will be active from Feb 25th starting at 6am (PST) through Thursday March 4th at 6am, and the code is case sensitive.

Disclosure:  This post contains referral links.  If you register for Swagbucks using my link, I will receive Swagbucks to match the Swagbucks you earn through web searches.
