Sunday Selah - "Wait"

I've listened to this song--"Wait" by Big Daddy Weave--many, many times. On Saturday morning, though, the lyrics hit me as though I'd never heard them before. I've been reading a lot of Scripture verses on persevering through trials, and these lyrics echo that message.  I hope it blesses you, as well.

Here are the first verse and the chorus (copied from the artist website):
If in your sickness you are desperate to recover
Wait a minute, wait a minute, wait a minute now
When you’re a seeker who is longing to discover
Wait a minute, wait a minute, wait a minute now, cause

They who wait on the Lord shall renew their strength
They will mount up on wings
They will walk and not faint
Seasons of this life change but God’s faithfulness remains
They who wait on the Lord shall renew their strength

  1. Hey Melissa, Persevering is so much easier with Him in mind! Happy Sunday!
