Chocolate-Covered February (with Recipes)

February is Chocolate-Covered in Hershey!

A few years ago we had a chance to spend a February day in Hershey.  We watched a demo by the executive pastry chef of the Hotel Hershey and a cake-decorating demo in the bakery at Chocolate World.  We took the Great American Chocolate Tour Ride and ended our day at the Chocolate Dessert Buffet.  The display must have included more than 50 chocolate desserts, from cookies and cakes to crepes and custards.  And every one of them was almost unbelievably good.  It was wonderful ... pricey, but wonderful.

This year we're probably not going to attend the Chocolate Dinner Extraordinaire, the Chocolate-Infused Sunday Brunch, or the Afternoon Chocolate Tea.  However, the folks at Hershey are sharing some of their chefs' recipes.  They're not all desserts:  there are recipes for Grilled Pork Chops with Chocolate BBQ Sauce and Cocoa Seared Scallops as well as Chocolate Espresso Mousse and Marbled Chocolate Peanut Butter Cake.  You'll find links to all of them here.  Enjoy!
