Friday's Fave Five

It's been a very difficult, very emotional week for me. Since it's always good to focus on the positive parts, I decided to join up with Susanne at Living to Tell the Story for Friday's Fave Five. (Click the logo above for more FFF.)

  1. My husband has been amazingly supportive and wonderful. When I've been falling apart, he's been there to hold me together.
  2. Our church is hosting a major Christmas outreach this weekend. It's a blessing to be part of it. If you'd like, please join me in praying that the people to whom we're reaching out will also be blessed.
  3. In three days I put 11 miles on the stationary bike and lost three pounds. It's a start!
  4. Yesterday we made homemade marshmallows. I've been wanting to try it for a while, but decided to "just do it." It means that I have double the laundry to catch up today, but it's worth it!
  5. It sounds corny, but I'm really just glad to have survived this week!

  1. Hi Melissa. So sorry that you had such a hard week. Praying the next will be much better for you. I'm glad you decided to still join in a look for some good things out of your week.

Your #1 is priceless. Having a supportive hubby who is there for you when you need him is a true blessing.

I love homemade marshmallows. I don't make them though because I'll eat the whole thing! Way to go on getting on that bike.

  2. I sounds like your week is getting better. Sorry it has been tough.

  3. Keep looking up friend. I know it's hard. Will be praying for better days for you!

  4. Some weeks the best we can do is survive! But you lost some weight in the process. Good job!

  5. I'm sorry you had a tough week, but you survived it! And you worked out and lost 3 lbs! AND you have a husband who loves you.

  6. I am sorry that you had a rough week. Just keep looking up! Way to go on the 3 lbs lost!

  7. I hate that you had a rough week...
Let me know if there is anything I can do for you.
    Take care!

  8. I hope you have a better week:) Yay to the lost three pounds!! I need to get off my tush;)

  9. Sorry about the rough week, I guess that is what makes the FFF kinda of special, it helps you to focus on the good during a long week. Glad hubs was so supportive. And that is awesome that you lost 3 lbs....keep riding girl!! :)
