Disney Vacation Pictures

I promised more Disney vacation photos, and I'm finally getting to post them! This one is from Epcot, which is our favorite park because of Soarin', Test Track, and Mission:Space. I can't ride either of those last two, but it's fun to see the enthusiasm of my DS and DH!

There's no special significance to the photo: I just like the way it turned out.

We were fortunate to find a terrific deal that allowed us to stay at a Disney resort that we couldn't normally afford. The room was just gorgeous, right down to the details. Check out the curtains:

The room was quiet even though the neighbors were a bunch of animals!

We spent hours on the balcony watching the animals, and we never got over the "Wow" of looking out the window and seeing them! It was really neat to be able to distinguish one giraffe from another, and watch their interactions. (Apparently, a giraffe can intimidate a zebra, and a zebra can chase away an antelope.)

This was my husband's favorite bird. He made up a voice and a personality for it, and he kept me laughing until I had tears in my eyes!

I caught this a little too late, but it's the first time I've ever seen it except on TV. At the Magic Kingdom, there are people who paint Disney characters on the streets. It's done with water, so it doesn't last very long. We saw this when we were at the train station, so we were able to photograph it from above.

So when do we go back to Disney World? :)

  1. Our goal for 2010 is to take our daughter to Disney Land, thanks for sharing your photos!!

  2. Oh how fun!
When Marc gets home we plan on taking all the boys...
I am hoping we can wait a couple years so that Broxton will be able to enjoy it...
But then, his older boys might be "to old" to think it is cool....
Although, when is to old? I want to go now!
    Thanks for sharing!

  3. Looks like you guys got more than you bargained for. I am always looking for deals. We plan to go within the next two years. My aunt n uncle make a point to go every 5 years. Their kids r now in college.
    Happy Holidays

  4. Disney is fun! I used to stay at the hotels once a year with my mom and sister, because they had annual passes. We only lived about an hour away so we got to enjoy it quite often. I still haven't seen Animal Kingdom yet though. It looks nice!
Just wanted to let you know, I passed you a blog award on...

  5. Wow, what a cool and fun trip! Neat that you got a zoo right out your window! My kids would have been in heaven!!

We were planning on going this coming August, but with the economy...who knows. It is for a business trip for my husband. So, he might be just going. I just wished we didn't tell our kids about the trip before we got hesitant.

  6. We were so delighted to take our kids to Disney over the summer. We had so much fun and none of us were ready to come home at the end of our trip. I enjoyed seeing your pics!

Thanks for stopping by my blog and leaving such a nice comment!
