Thankful Thursday - October 22

Thankful Thursday at Truth 4 the Journey

This week I decided to participate in Thankful Thursday over at Sonya's blog, Truth 4 the Journey. The premise is simple: write a list of five things you're thankful for, include the button shown above, and link it up. Here's my list:
  1. I'm thankful for my husband and my son, who love me no matter what. I've been going through a rough time, not feeling like myself and probably not being as lovable as usual (LOL). They love me anyway!
  2. I am thankful that No test or temptation that comes your way is beyond the course of what others have had to face. All you need to remember is that God will never let you down; he'll never let you be pushed past your limit; he'll always be there to help you come through it. (1 Cor 10:13, MSG)
  3. I'm thankful for a particular conversation I had this week. I had the opportunity to speak with someone who prayed with me, listened, and offered sound advice. I've been tremendously blessed by this.
  4. On a lighter note, I'm thankful that, when I arrived at the lab to have bloodwork done, there was no one in line ahead of me. No wait! Unfortunately, about a minute later, I found out that I'd have to go back another day because one of the tests requires fasting. LOL
  5. Finally, for this week, I'm thankful for my son's birthday this weekend. He's such a great kid!

  4. What a great list. Isn't is great that we are still loved even when we aren't 'lovable'? Have a blessed week.
