Highlights: Friday's Fave Five

Even though ... no, because ... it's been another rough week, I purposed to list five favorites.
  1. My husband and son have been wonderful all week. They accompanied me to the doctor's office, kept me smiling during the procedure, and have taken care of me since then.
  2. My doctor has a sense of humor. He told me, "This is just novacaine" after he'd plunged the needle into my scalp. He said, "Don't worry," as blood was dripping from my head to my arm. His attitude (which in no way detracts from his medical/surgical skill) made this procedure less stressful for me.
  3. Naps. Need I say more? :)
  4. Cooler weather. Enough with the heat and humidity already!
  5. Answered prayers! I've been praying for calm and God has been gracious to provide that.
