Last week I made some changes to the menu plan. Instead of the baked manicotti that I'd planned, I roasted a turkey breast. (The turkey was on sale and wouldn't fit in the freezer.) The bonus was that we had enough leftover turkey to last through the weekend.
I posted yesterday about the homemade pizza with fresh tomatoes. It was a delicious way to use some of the tomatoes that our garden is producing.
This week is a very easy menu plan for me. I'm having a very minor surgical procedure today, and my wonderful husband offered to get takeout dinners for the first few days. So here's the plan:
Monday - Wednesday: Takeout
Thursday: Meatloaf, mashed potatoes, broccoli
Friday: Summer sausage, cucumber salad, macaroni salad

Thanks for stopping by my blog. Praying all goes well with your procedure.
