Marinated Slaw
1/2 small head cabbage, shredded
1/2 small onion, chopped fine
1/3 large green pepper, chopped
1 medium carrot, grated
1 cucumber, chopped
Dressing:
1/2 cup apple cider vinegar
1/2 cup canola oil
1/4 cup sugar
1/2 tsp. dry mustard
1/2 tsp. celery seed
1/2 tsp. salt
Mix the dressing ingredients in a saucepan and heat to a boil. Stir until sugar is dissolved. (This can be done in the microwave, too.)
Combine the vegetables in a large bowl. Pour dressing over the vegetables, and stir to mix. Refrigerate, stirring occasionally, overnight. Keeps, refrigerated, for several days.

I found you from Mission Mommy's blog. I stamp also (much less now) and that's what drew me here. Thanks for the great recipe!
Sounds yummy.

Sounds like a good slaw recipe. Thanks for joining TMTT this week.
I like this version of slaw
That sounds great! My favorite slaw is the Nutty Coleslaw that is made with Top Ramen, but I have been looking to replace it because the Ramen seasoning packet contains MSG. I am going to give your recipe a try. Thanks for sharing it!
It's nice to have a variation over mayo-based slaw. :-)
Great recipe. I hope you'll swing by my recipe exchange too. I shared a yummy baked flounder recipe and love collecting other inspired ideas:
