Garden Update - Mystery Solved!

The mystery plant looks more like a pepper plant to me now! (You were right all along!)

The rabbits are doing a number on the lilies. Last year they chewed up the marigolds, but this year they seem to be ignoring them.

Sorry for the blur (I used a different camera today), but we have some grape tomatoes ripening!

  3. There's nothing like fresh, home grown veggies, especially tomatoes. Those marigolds were really pretty, too! Thanks for stopping by my blog. I am following you on twitter! :)

  4. Yum, tomatoes and peppers, good combination.

Rabbits are not supposed to like marigolds, so they should be safe. My rabbits missed the memo, so I have to occassionally douse them in garlic. Of course that leaves my backyard smelling like Gilroy, CA. We received several good rain storms, so I have to go back and recoat everything in rabbit reppellent to replace that which was washed off.

  5. Everything's looking good, Melissa! :) I'm STILL canning green beans....I'm up to about 75 jars now. I hope to get about 25 more jars and then I'll call it quits. It takes a lot of beans to get us through the winter. :)
