- Meatloaf with baked potatoes and broccoli
- Grilled steak (although we eat this infrequently because of the cost)
- Lasagna, manicotti, or stuffed shells--any baked dish with pasta, sauce, and cheese
- Homemade pizza, preferably with pepperoni, peppers, onions, and fresh garlic
- Pasta with meatballs, sausage, or both (This is my son's perennial birthday request!)
- Chicken fajitas
- Red beans and rice (made with ground beef)
- "Superchicken" (Buffalo-style chicken breast)
- Tilapia, either oven-fried or simply baked
- BLT sandwiches (only when we have homegrown tomatoes)
