Menu Plan Monday - Week of June 29

No new recipes last week, but this week I'm going to include two new recipes in my menu plan. One is the Stuffed Bread that Kristen posted last week; if you see the photos, you'll want to try it next week, too! The other is Chicken Fried Rice from Tammy's Recipes. I'll probably make some changes to this recipe, but I'll let you know next week how it turns out. Both recipes are linked in the menu plan:

Sunday: Ravioli (frozen) with homemade sauce and bread

Monday: Stuffed bread filled with BBQ pork, green salad

Tuesday: Chili, corn bread or tortilla chips

Wednesday: Chicken Fried Rice

Thursday: Veal stew with noodles, sourdough bread

Friday: Independence Day weekend begins. Weather permitting, we'll be grilling. I plan to have hamburgers and pork roll sandwiches, tortellini salad, marinated slaw, corn on the cob, and watermelon--all weekend.

  1. love the stuffed bread idea this looks so delicious

  2. The stuffed bread sounds wonderful. I will have to see if I can make a gluten free variation!

  3. I agree the stuffed bread sounds really good.

  4. I wish I could get this organized! I do plan in advance, but not in this much detail. Good for you, though.

BTW, my youngest just launched a photo blog, and I'm shamelessly trolling for traffic. Please visit my site to see what she's got going, and pay her a visit!

  5. Love the blog. Thanks for stopping by to read mine. :)

  6. Thanks for the comment! I've already added a bunch of new recipes thanks to the MPM site. The stuffed bread sounds yummy, especially with BBQ pork!
