Menu Plan Monday - Week of May 18

I juggled some of last week's plans. We were out on Tuesday, so we skipped the chili I'd planned. And I used broccoli for the stir-fry because asparagus was $2.99 a bunch and broccoli crowns were 99 cents a pound. No major changes, though, and this is a new week.

Monday: oven-fried tilapia (a new recipe for me), mashed potatoes, green beans

Tuesday: ravioli with meat sauce, sourdough bread

Wednesday: hamburgers, corn on the cob with chive butter, broccoli

Thursday: pasta with uncooked tomato sauce (similar to this), bread

Friday: Super Easy pork chops (a new recipe for me), rice, sugar snap peas

Check back here on Tuesday to see how the oven-fried tilapia recipe turned out, and next week to see about the pork chops. For more menu plans and inspiration, visit Organizing Junkie.

  1. Ohhh, those pork chops sound good!

  2. Hi Melissa,
I forgot about cream cheese braids--yum. That's a great idea (and a good cheat for me since there's a great little bakery near me!). And the chive butter is inspiring! I have chives leftover from brunch last week that are on their last legs but I bet in butter it wouldn't matter!
Have a great week and thanks for stopping by my blog!

  3. Thank you for some yummy ideas! My mouth is watering at the sourdough bread, and I'm going to check out the tilapia recipe. I like fish, but hardly ever make it.

  4. You'll have to let me know how the pork chops turned out. It sounds yummy. I printed the recipe & will have to give it a try.

  5. Any Ideas for menu planning through a move? We just sold our house and need to be out on June 10th . Any suggestions? I have 2 teenage boys and 2 younger children 7 and 8. Thanks for visiting my blog.

  6. Besides, broccoli tastes better anyway. ;) Happy eating!
