Menu Plan Monday: Week of April 27

Last week's menu plan went pretty well. Aside from the drama of Smoke Alarm Test Monday, the week was fairly predictable. So we stuck with the planned menu with few changes; I added a few sides (tomato salad, onion rings) to use up fresh vegetables, but that's about it.

Here's the plan for this week:

Monday: Slow Cooker Chili, tortilla chips (It'll be too hot to bake bread!)

Tuesday: Superchicken (like Buffalo wings, but made with thin-sliced boneless chicken breast), mashed potatoes, carrots and celery sticks with blue cheese dip

Wednesday: Veal and peppers (We very rarely eat veal, but the cubes were on sale--manager's special--for an amazing price) with noodles, Italian bread

Thursday: Turkey breast (on sale this week), mashed potatoes, vegetable (TBD, but something from the freezer)

Friday: Leftover turkey (Prep note: make turkey stock for soup.)

Saturday: Turkey soup
