For papercrafting, I try to choose supplies and products that are versatile. I like rubber stamps, for example, but I won't buy a stamp that I can use only once. My scrapbook pages and handmade cards tend to be very simple in design. I like them that way, and it's a creative challenge to design something beautiful without using many embellishments. And, of course, when I do buy supplies, I try to find good bargains on everything!
As I've watched food prices creep higher, I've been seeking out frugal new recipes. As I find new recipes or money-saving tips, I'll share them here.
I do have a "wish list" of papercrafting and kitchen tools, but I don't obsess over what I can't afford. I might mention those things occasionally, but I'm truly content with what I have.
I know there are many people out there who have some of the same interests and are on limited budgets. I hope this blog will become a place to swap ideas. I'll share my money-saving ideas and I hope you'll share yours!
